2011 welcome note. Lol

Ohhhhh! I'm so so sorry. I cant believe its been that long since my last blog! Forgive me? Thanks. Its been such a whirl in the life of this superhot single sista. Lol. At last, I too, can say,"thank God I made it to 2011. Phew! Life was not easy o. Hmnn, it was tough jare, but, you know what they say about when the going gets tough... I just got back from Ohambele in Abia State. The purpose of my visit to that once-dreaded home of Osisikankwu(d kidnapper), was for a crusade hosted by my dear 'daddy in the lord', Rev. Felix Akara. After the pre-christmas hustling (not the immoral one o), the shopping for clothes n gifts, the 'chowing', the shows and parties, I'm now back to being me again. Back to the stark reality of the fact that I'm 5kg overweight, my school, UST, is still on strike and a Naija dats is about to soar to greater heights. As a result of the fact that I lost all self-discipline with regards to dieting, I'm chubbier with a merry countenance. I dread the first day of school. My coursemates would have a field day poking fun at me. They'd laugh like Chuckey, the evil doll and say, My my my! Sophie! What chubby cheeks you've got! Its my mum's fault, as well as Aunty Ine, the fat caterer that catered for ministers at the crusade(thank God that she's not privy to this document, I'd be a goner if she was).My mum's pots of soup, Aunty Ine's irresistable delicacies have been sumptous but such niceties are sweet poison when you are 20-something going on 60. Whenever I walk past a mirror and take a look, and sigh with disgust at my tummy (not appreciating the good legs o), I strenghten my resolve to be firmer this year with myself. Thank God we made it to a new year! All the resolutions we know that we wont keep but make anyway, God will help us. Welcome back from your journeys and travels. This year is going to be wonderful cos I have lots of ideas o. I must hammer to buy that hummer this year. Lol. Watch out for me sha. Lol. Happy new year.
